Fan Kuan Landscape

For centuries, like all Chinese Old Masters, Fan Kuan (ca. 990-1030) has inspired many copies and forgeries . In this one, I find particularly impressive the vibrant treatment of the tree branches and foliage, as contrasted to the meticulous rendering of the dwelling.
